Transition from Pain to Fitness & Prevention

If the thought of beginning a new exercise program makes you anxious due to pre-existing conditions (joint replacement, previous spine surgery, osteoporosis, arthritis, chronic low back pain), we offer a Wellness and Prevention program. We felt compelled to add a Wellness and Prevention program to limit the risk of injury or reinjury for people with pre-existing conditions interested in beginning a new strength and fitness exercise regimen. This consists of:

  1. One hour evaluation of the musculoskeletal system, neuromuscular system, and motor control efficiency. Any deficits discovered during the evaluation will be addressed with specific exercises.
  2. A program will be tailored to your specific fitness goals with regard to pre existing conditions. You may choose to remain under the supervision of your physical therapist while performing your exercises or you can easily transition to a home exercise program requiring minimal equipment.
